Autogroup International has its own highly experienced in-house international vehicle logistics and shipping team that ships hundreds of vehicles worldwide each year. Our Logistics team manages the fast and efficient clearance, at Customs, of each and every vehicle that arrives at Colombo Port (Sri Lanka), with rapid port clearance and no import duty payable due to our status as an Sri Lankan Board of Investment (BOI) approved import facility.

Upon completion of the vehicle to right-hand drive, the same Logistics and Shipping team arranges all onward freight from the containerization of the completed vehicle at Autogroup International facility, through custom clearance, loading onto the vessel, and the complete freight solution to the client ports of choice including all necessary paperwork for legal import into country of destination.

Full vehicle quality control

We manage the complete loading procedure - including strapping, side padding and wheel blocks - to ensure the vehicle is secure and cannot shift in transit within one of either 20ft, 40ft or 40ft HC containers. We obtain photo/video prior to shipment to verify pre-ship condition for both client and our QA team.

Procedure and Paperwork

Management of all necessary legal paperwork including sourcing the vehicle title, compliance, licensing, insurance. For export, obtain and generate documentation specific to the requirements of the destination port to ensure smooth and worry-free release, title clearance and delivery.
