American car brands like Chevrolet, Dodge, GMC, and Hummer are making a return to South Africa through Durban-based importer Rospa International, which has partnered with Autogroup International (AGI) to bring in popular U.S. models. These vehicles, including muscle cars and bakkies like the GMC Sierra and Dodge Challenger, will be converted to right-hand drive before arriving in the country. While not officially re-entering the market, the imports will be supported with local warranties, financing options, and after-sales service in major cities, offering South African car enthusiasts access to iconic American models once again.
