Steering system, pedal box, performance suspension, dashboard architecture, HVAC, wiring looms, safety systems and restraint systems, switchgear and infotainment controls relocate to OEM-equivalent right hand drive positions. Capability spans CAD and 3D scanning, FEA and CFD validation, calibrated jigs and fixtures, CNC machining, polyurethane casting and low-pressure molding, plus vacuum casting and forming for complex interior components. Electrical Engineering reconfigures looms and modules, adapts seats, shifters and lighting to market standards, and manages ECU programming with OEM-level diagnostics, including EV integrations. Designs are proven via 3D-printed prototypes and metrology, released through controlled document management, then verified by a 1,626-point quality control process before delivery.
Compliance, testing and legal road use
Every vehicle is engineered, documented and tested for legal registration and insurance in its destination country. Scope covers steering and braking performance, lighting and labelling, emissions where applicable, occupant protection and electronics with software calibrations. Where homologation is required, we supply a complete technical evidence pack.
Standards and safeguards
- No grey market or unsupported vehicles. Only factory-supported trucks, sourced and configured for each market. Grey market imports typically lack warranty, do not meet proper engineering and safety requirements, can be dangerous to drive, and are often illegal or practically impossible to import, register, gain compliance and insure.
- Direct factory collaboration for compliance. Our authorised relationships allow Autogroup International engineers to work directly with factory engineers to implement market-specific adjustments, for example lighting, instrumentation, lift kits, bullbats and electronics, to ensure full legal compliance where appropriate.
- Full traceability. Parts, procedures and sign-offs are recorded under our audited ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and Conformity of Production.
