Autogroup International – 20th birthday
Saturday 1st July 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of Autogroup International commencing operations in Sri Lanka. Over that time, we have grown from a small factory with a handful of team members to a specialized automotive manufacturing facility spread over 2-acres. With an incredibly talented team, we hand craft the safest, legally compliant and highest quality left-hand drive to right-hand drive conversions of American SUVs, Muscle Cars and Pickup trucks.
We celebrated with our team of over 170 people yesterday with a lot of birthday cake, moving speeches, an old-fashioned slide show taking us back over the past 20-years of our achievements, hundreds of selfies, hugs and a wonderful lunch!
We were able to recognize nineteen of our team members who have worked for Autogroup International for 10+ years, including twelve that have key to our success for 15+ years and four truly wonderful colleagues that have been with us right from the very beginning. Additionally we celebrated and recognized another fourteen team member for their outstanding contributions.
A successful business is grown and sustained by its team, and at Autogroup International we are incredibly fortunate and blessed that our team – both recent joiners and the ‘old timers’ – work passionately together to help continue the incredible success story that is Autogroup International. Throughout our history which includes converting 1000’s of American vehicles and exporting those worldwide to happy customers we have suffered together through the hard time and enjoyed the amazing times.
