Celebrating 33 Years of Autogroup International- A Global Leader in Right-Hand Drive Engineering

This July marks an extraordinary milestone for Autogroup International 33 years of engineering excellence, innovation, and global impact. From humble beginnings in Melbourne, Australia, to becoming the world leader in right-hand drive conversions of American vehicles, our journey is a story of passion, people, and perseverance.

The First Vehicle AGI

A Legacy Built from the Ground Up

In 1991, our very first project—a 1993 GMC Sierra pickup—sparked a vision that would ultimately evolve into a globally respected automotive engineering brand. Today, we offer right-hand drive conversions of the most sought-after American pickup trucks, SUVs, muscle cars, and electric vehicles, all built to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

22 Years of Operations in Sri Lanka

For the past 22 years, Sri Lanka has been the beating heart of our operations. While it began as our manufacturing center, it has grown to become the home of our engineering, logistics, procurement, finance, digital marketing, and ISO-certified quality assurance teams. This vertically integrated structure enables unmatched control, efficiency, and quality across every vehicle we build.
