Autogroup International provides a complete ‘turn-key’ solution from sourcing the exact vehicle you want (make, model, colour, trim, factory options) in North America, we manage all logistics and international sea freight to our government approved Head Quarters in Sri Lanka, the LHD-to-RHD conversion process, homologation and then export to your destination country including customs clearance.

Yes - Some clients want the thrill of sourcing their own vehicle in North America and, in these cases, we are able to provide a ‘conversion only’ service. We can also help our clients by managing all of the shipping requirements as this can be a complex process.  Our  dedicated logistics team manages hundreds of vehicles every year. All our vehicles are put through a rigorous 1,625 individual quality checks by our Quality Assurance team before any vehicle leaves our factory for final delivery. Our vehicles are homologated and converted in accordance with strict Australian Design Rules (ADR) standards - one of the toughest and most exhaustive vehicle regulatory frameworks in the world. This means our vehicles not only meet safety standards but, more often than not, exceed requirements set by some 40+ countries we ship to. Finally, we have always been 100% Australian-owned and have a reputation for quality, integrity, and honesty.

All vehicles exported from their origin country lose their OEM manufacturer's warranty. It becomes the responsibility of the conversion company to provide a warranty not only on the conversion work but also on the full vehicle. Autogroup International with our 30+ years of history in the right-hand drive conversion business and proven history of providing full warranty support to 4500 vehicles worldwide is trusted to ensure that if a problem occurs - we are there to support you.

Yes – We welcome international clients to visit our facility for a full tour, the chance to meet with our CEO Rob Hill, and to meet our team. Many clients choose to visit before they make a buying decision and a number come to visit once their vehicle arrives and is being converted.

The process can vary widely based on whether the vehicle has already undergone conversion or whether its one-of-a-kind, however most left-hand drive to right-hand drive conversion processes take anywhere from 3-10 weeks depending upon the vehicle and our factory wait list. For decades we have always had a high demand for our vehicles due to their quality but most people can have their vehicle ordered, shipped, converted, and then delivered to their destination port in just a few months. We source 99% of our vehicles from North America directly from the OEM manufacturer or long-term partners. This ensures we have the widest selection of vehicles to choose from (make, model, trim, colour, factory options) and they come with the highest specification possible. We do not source GCC spec vehicles due to the lower specification when compared to the North American equivalent. Additionally, by sourcing from North America, we can guarantee our vehicles are clear of title, are not stolen, and are genuine fully-featured versions.

Autogroup International converts both brand-new vehicles and vehicles up to 3 years old. Our North American team can help source both brand-new vehicles but also older vehicles that have low mileage and are in excellent condition.
