We export to over 40 right-hand drive countries including Australia, the UK, New Zealand, South
Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia,
Malaysia and more.

How long has Autogroup International been in business?

We have been operating continuously since 1991—over 33 years of experience—and have
converted more than 5,000 vehicles.

Is Autogroup International an Australian company?

Yes. Autogroup International is a proudly 100% Australian family-owned business.

Who founded Autogroup International?

The company was founded by Peter Hill and is now run by his son Rob Hill, continuing as a globally
successful second-generation family business.

Can I buy a new right-hand drive American vehicle directly from you?

Yes, our global sales team will help you select and purchase a brand-new American vehicle
configured to your exact specifications.

Can I supply my own vehicle for conversion only?

Yes. Clients may choose our full service (sourcing, logistics, conversion, and export) or supply their
own vehicle for conversion only. We’re flexible to meet your needs.

How do you source the vehicles?

Our team in the U.S. and Canada works directly with dealers and manufacturers to source new and
near-new vehicles based on your preferences including colour, trim, engine type, and factory
options.

Can I choose the exact specifications for my vehicle?

Yes. You can specify the exterior colour, interior trim, trim level, engine, drivetrain, factory packages,
and accessories.

Will I be the first registered owner of the vehicle?

Yes. All new vehicles sourced by Autogroup International are registered to you as the first owner.

Do you check the vehicle history?

Yes. All vehicles undergo full Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI), CARFAX or NMVTIS checks, and title
verification to ensure they are clean, legal, and high quality.

How do you convert vehicles to right-hand drive?

We undertake full mirror-image engineering using approximately 400+ redesigned components. This
includes replacing and relocating the steering, dashboard, HVAC, wiring, pedals, and more. All of our
vehicles conversion happen in our ISO9001:2015 Quality Assured and multi-million dollar conversion
facility in Sri Lanka.

How long does the conversion process take?

From order to export, the total process takes approximately 3.0 to 4.5 months depending on the
model and complexity.

Is your conversion ISO certified?

Yes. Autogroup International is ISO 9001:2015 certified specifically for the right-hand drive
conversion of American vehicles to comply with the Australian Motor Vehicle Standards Act. This
certification is unique globally.

Are your conversions legal and safe?

Absolutely. Our vehicles meet or exceed the compliance and homologation standards required in
each destination country. Our engineering team includes over 30 mechanical, electrical, and
software engineers.

Do you handle international shipping?

Yes. Our in-house logistics team handles the entire shipping process from North America to Sri Lanka
and onward to your destination port.

How long does sea freight take?

Transit from the U.S./Canada to Sri Lanka takes around 55 days. Shipping to your country typically
takes 1–6 weeks depending on location.

Can I track my vehicle shipment?

Yes. We provide regular updates, vessel tracking, photographs, and documentation throughout the
shipping journey.

Can I request air freight?

Yes. Air freight can be arranged for urgent shipments, though it is more expensive than sea freight.

What compliance paperwork is included?

We provide a full compliance pack including engineering documentation, homologation certificates,
emissions reports, and inspection reports where required.

Do you assist with vehicle registration in my country?

Yes. We assist with all pre-registration paperwork and can connect you with trusted agents in your
country to complete registration.

Are duties and taxes included in the price?

Duties and taxes vary by country and are typically paid locally. We can estimate import costs and
advise you on clearance agents and procedures.

What warranty do you offer?

Every vehicle comes with a Factory-Backed 3-Year Warranty with conditions identical to the OEM’s
original warranty.

Do you provide spare parts?

Yes. Our dedicated parts team in Australia, Sri Lanka and Canada supplies OEM-grade service parts,
accessories, and consumables worldwide.

What is included in the 100,000 km parts kit?

Oil filters, air filters, fuel filters, brake pads, belts, wiper blades, and other non-fluid consumables for
the first 100,000 km.

What support do you provide after delivery?

We offer global customer service and technical support from teams in Sri Lanka and Australia, and
we work with service partners in your country.

Can you help arrange servicing in my country?

Yes. We partner with local workshops and can coordinate regular servicing, maintenance, and warranty claims.

Where are your factories located?

Our conversion facility is in Sri Lanka, and our Australian base handles servicing, warehousing, and
local sales. We also have teams in North America and the UK.

Can I visit the factory?

Yes. Factory tours are available in Sri Lanka. Many international clients visit before purchase. Book a factory tour

We have over 250 staff globally including 30+ engineers, skilled fabricators, electricians, software
specialists, service advisors, and logistics professionals.
